This advanced course surveys the world of beautiful, high-end drapery panels. Beginning with the creation of a plush, bump-interlined panel with hand-sewn decorative trim and progressing towards panels with attached valances, ruched headings and embellished leading edges. Students practice the use of several authentic interlining techniques including English Bump and French Blackout methods. Each student creates a collection of incredible drapery panel samples that can be used to present their fully developed skills to potential clients.
