PB201-Professional Bedding Fabrication

This course is a comprehensive overview of custom bedding fabrication. While fabricating samples suitable for showroom display, students learn the step-by-step methods for creating beautiful bedding ensembles. Projects include a variety of bed skirts, bedspreads, and pillow shams. The instructor shares techniques for adding embellishment details such as lapped zipper closures, bound button holes, pleated ruffles, banding, welt, flanged edges, covered buttons, and contrast inverted pleats. In addition, students learn to measure, calculate yardage, price and complete work orders for subcontracted quilting resources.
