The host hotel for students attending Custom Home Furnishings Academy is Comfort Suites®, located just off I-485 at 10415 Centrum Parkway, Pineville, NC  28134.  Students receive special reduced rates by calling 704-540-0069 and using the code “CHF Student”.  Comfort Suites® features spacious, non-smoking suites with refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, irons, ironing boards and sitting areas with a desk sofa sleeper.  Guests receive free wireless Internet and a free hot breakfast bar is provided daily. The hotel also provides a seasonal outdoor pool, fitness center and laundry area.

The hotel is located approximately 5 miles from Custom Home Furnishings Academy and 9 miles from Charlotte/Douglas International Airport and is within walking distance of many national chain stores including K-Mart, SteinMart, Home Depot, Linens and Things, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Best Buy, Pier One and more. Restaurants include Lone Star, Longhorn, Jason's Deli, Captain D's and more.

 

Carolina Place, a large shopping mall, is located across the street and features over 100 stores and a wide variety of restaurants.  Just behind the mall is an area known as “Furniture Row” with stores selling home furnishings.

 

Cab service is available from the airport or pre-plan transportation by scheduling a ride from TIME-Car Transportation (704-449-7708) timetransportation@att.net. Time-Car Transportation Service requires a prior reservation and offers a special "CHF ACADEMY STUDENT" rate that is typically less than cab fare.
